Lesley–I’m glad to know we are still blog friends after I left a slightly creepy comment on yours! I swear I’m not a stalker. as for my willpower, it’s only day two and this is hard!

Nishta – I made the chocolate mini-cakes yesterday and they are scrumptious. We gave them out as mini-Fat Tuesday presents to friends, but Dick made sure to keep a bag full for himself. Thanks for making it a sweet dayl. Carolyn

Thanks for sharing these delicious recipes. I am so proud of your Lenten journey. You definitely are a stronger woman than I. I personally cannot wait to make the Chocolate-Espresso Mini Cakes. I am a sucker for chocolate (real, not Hershey’s candy chocolate).

I commend you in your Lenten quest. Just looking at those cookies makes me realize I don’t have nearly enough willpower to do the same. And we can’t get cookies like that in Mexico, we CAN’T. When I travel to the States and I’m surrounded by all these fabulous American cookies, it’s all I can do to not gorge myself.

And with ya on the nice butter. I use Lurpak and can’t go back.
